Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande-Butera (/,a:ri'a:n@ 'gra:ndeI/ 'gra:ndeI/@ GRAHN-day, [note 1] born on June 26th, 1993) is an American performer, songwriter and actress. She is noted for her four-octave vocal range and her signature use of the whistle register, which have been widely praised by media and critics. Grande has been awarded numerous accolades over her career. They include two Grammy Awards. One Brit Award. Two Billboard Music Awards. Three American Music Awards. Nine MTV Video Music Awards. Thirty Guinness World Records.
Grande began her music career when she was 15 years old in the year 2008's Broadway musical 13. Grande made headlines as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's television series Victorious (2010 from 2010 to 2013) and Sam & Cat(2013 2013 - 2014). Grande was signed to Republic Records in 2011 after management of the label viewed YouTube videos of her singing songs. Grande's 1950s-doo-wop-influenced R&B and pop debut album, [2] Yours Truly (2013) was a hit and landed in the top ten spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. Grande's voice and whistle sounds on the album immediately and compared to Mariah Carey.
In her third and fourth studio albums My Everything (2014), and Dangerous Woman (2016), she continued to explore pop as well as R&B. My Everything experimented with EDM and achieved global success with the singles "Problem", "Break Free" and "Bang Bang" and Dangerous Woman became her first of four consecutive top-five albums in the UK. Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), were her fifth and fourth studio albums respectively, which featured trap music. Both albums were critically and commercially acclaimed. Sweetener was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and Thank U, Next broke the record for having the most streaming week for a pop record and was nominated for Album of the Year. Grande was the first solo artist to to hold the Top 3 places on the Hot 100, and also the first female artist who made it to the top of UK Singles Chart. Grande's collaborations in 2020, including Justin Bieber ("Stuck with U") and Lady Gaga's "Rain on Me" each earned her the Grammy Award as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Grande's sixth studio album Positions (2020), increased her focus on trap music. The album as well as its lead single reached number one in the UK. Grande joined forces with The Weeknd to create the remix to "Save Your Tears" in 2021. This was her sixth highest-rated US single.
