Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer first began her acting career as a teenager. Her best-known character was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three brothers and sisters. The singer began performing in club nights as a teenager. She was known to sneak away from her house to sing. From the Wooster school at 13 years old and began to study acting. After that, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned instructor Uta Hagen.
